THE LEAGUE
The League of Ukrainian Catholics, a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization governed by the National Board, is represented in eight states.
We are reaching out to you to come and enjoy the same fulfillment many others have experience by being a working member of the League of Ukrainian Catholics, enjoying the fruits of friendship and growing stronger in faith.
The League is also a social organization within the framework of the Church, where people share in the fellowship of the parish life as well as in the social activities of the parishes. Each group is an extension of one community into another community, thus creating a social, family bond.

On Wednesday, July 9th we are holding the first meeting to put together the next edition of the Action. We hope to have it completed by the end of summer so we will be able to have a mailing meeting in September. It is hoped it will be out before the Convention. We need an update on members and friends who are ill, who have recently passed away ,or any Congratulation Wishes to be sent out. Remember, many members of this League are not able to participate at functions such as Conventions to speak with other members about what is going on in other Councils, this is a way for all our members to keep in touch with what is happening . If anyone has personal contact with anyone from any of the defunct councils( Cleveland, Philadelphia etc) or any independent members please contact them and ask them to send information as to what is happening in their areas.
If you have any news form your Council, please send it along. Please email your articles if possible. It makes it much easier, pictures too, their much easier to scan .
If any members wish to send information, please encourage them. The more information we have, the better the newsletter will be.
Please try to get the information to me as soon as possible, by the end of July, please!!!!
If you have any questions, ideas about what should be included, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are open to any ideas or suggestions. We're new at this and any ideas will be gladly accepted.
